1. Introductory Provisions

These terms and conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between the seller and the buyer arising in connection with the purchase agreement concluded through the VKUSE.cz e-shop.

(hereinafter referred to as the "seller")

The buyer is a natural person who concludes a purchase agreement with the seller through the e-shop outside the scope of their business activity.

2. User Account

If the web interface allows registration, the buyer may create a user account.

The buyer is obliged to provide true and up-to-date information.

The seller may cancel a user account, especially if the buyer does not use it for more than 24 months or violates these terms and conditions.

3. Conclusion of the Purchase Agreement

All goods presented on the website are for informational purposes only.

The purchase agreement is concluded at the moment the seller confirms the order sent to the buyer's e-mail address.

The seller reserves the right not to accept an order, especially in the event of an obvious error in the price or unavailability of the goods.

4. Price of Goods and Payment Terms

Prices are listed in Czech crowns (CZK) and, where applicable, in euros (EUR).

The seller is not a VAT payer.

The buyer can pay the price of the goods by:

  • online payment card,

  • Apple Pay,

  • Google Pay,

  • Shop Pay,

  • bank transfer,

  • other methods listed during order completion.

The tax document is sent electronically.

5. Delivery of Goods

Goods are delivered via carriers listed on the website.

The delivery period is indicated for individual products.

For custom-made goods, the delivery period may be longer.

The buyer is obliged to check the condition of the shipment upon receipt.

6. Handmade Production and Product Characteristics

VKUSE brand products are predominantly handmade in small batches.

Each piece is original and may show minor variations in:

  • glaze shade,

  • surface pattern and texture,

  • shape,

  • dimensions,

  • weight.

These characteristics are a natural result of handmade production and are not considered product defects.

Product photos are illustrative and may vary slightly from the actual product.

Unless otherwise stated, ceramic products are intended for normal household use and are suitable for contact with food.

Information on suitability for use in a dishwasher or microwave oven is provided for individual products.

Care of VKUSE Ceramic Products

6.7. VKUSE brand ceramic products are made from materials suitable for normal household use and are intended for contact with food, unless otherwise stated for a specific product.

6.8. Information on suitability for use in a dishwasher, microwave oven, oven, or other appliances is provided for individual products on the seller's website.

6.9. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a product, the seller recommends hand washing ceramic products. Hand washing helps maintain the appearance of the glaze and extends the product's lifespan.

6.10. The seller is not responsible for product damage caused by:

  • dropping or impact,

  • inappropriate use,

  • failure to follow maintenance instructions,

  • exposure to extreme temperature changes (thermal shock),

  • use in a manner for which the product is not intended.

6.11. Normal signs of wear resulting from ordinary use are not considered a product defect.

6.12. The buyer acknowledges that ceramics are a fragile material. Any mechanical damage incurred after receipt of the product is not a reason for complaint.

6.13. For decorative products, lamps, vases, and other design objects, the buyer is obliged to use the product only for its intended purpose.

6.14. In the case of tableware intended for contact with food, the seller declares that the glazes and materials used comply with the requirements of applicable legal regulations for normal contact with food.

7. Withdrawal from the Contract

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement without giving a reason within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.

Withdrawal can be sent:

  • by e-mail to info@vkuse.cz,

  • in writing to the seller's address.

The buyer is obliged to return the goods within 14 days of withdrawal.

The seller will return all received payments to the buyer no later than 14 days from the receipt of the returned goods or proof of their dispatch.

The buyer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The buyer cannot withdraw from the contract, especially for:

  • goods manufactured according to their requirements,

  • personalized goods,

  • goods modified according to the customer's wishes.

8. Complaints and Rights from Defective Performance

The seller is responsible for defects that the goods have upon receipt.

The buyer can file a complaint by e-mail or in writing.

If a defect manifests itself within one year from the receipt of the goods, it is presumed that it existed at the time of receipt, unless the nature of the defect precludes the opposite.

Complaints will be handled without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the date of their application, unless the parties agree otherwise.

9. Consumer Reviews

If reviews are published on the website, they come from customers who have actually purchased the product.

Verification is carried out through the order system or a subsequent invitation to rate after purchase.

10. Personal Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by a separate document "Privacy Policy".

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and related legal regulations.

11. Cookies

The website uses cookies to ensure functionality, analyze traffic, and for marketing activities.

Details are provided in a separate document on the use of cookies.

12. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes:

13. Final Provisions

Legal relations arising from the purchase agreement are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is invalid or ineffective, the validity of the other provisions remains unaffected.

These terms and conditions come into effect on June 21, 2026.
